[Freeswitch-users] Asterisk extensions

CDRs can work in a number of ways, but the two most common ways are:

CSV and XML.

Personally, I like the XML CDRs because they are not limited to the
standard one-record-per-call. In conf/autoload_configs/modules.conf.xml
you specify which types of CDRs you want created. If memory serves, I
believe the CSV CDRs are enabled by default but you'll have to edit
modules.conf.xml to allow the XML CDRs. Make sure that you uncomment
this line in modules.conf.xml:

<!-- <load module="mod_xml_cdr"/> -->

Your CDRs will show up in conf/log/cdr-csv/Main.csv and in
conf/log/xml_cdr/*xml. You get one XML file per call, named <UUID>.xml.

Enjoy!

We get a lot of people who like to walk in off the street and expect
that they can comprehend a complex application without any prior
knowledge of telephony and that some magic document should exist to make
you suddenly more intelligent. We will be glad to help you unless you
continue to complain before actually doing some leg work and learning
how the software works. This application is perhaps to complex for you
to understand. So it's up to you. Be nice and get help or complain
more.......

Not sure how unclear the documentation is. This getting started guide
is the best place to get started

The default config coming out of the box is setup to be a PBX with
various things already setup for you. In addition if you're having
problems understanding things you can join the IRC list or even ask
specific questions here on the mailing list. Someone will tend to
your request and assist you in understanding the concepts.

Thanks,
