[Freeswitch-users] PocketSphinx on Win32

Yeah, I’ve incorporated both Carlos (pocketsphinx) and Royce (flite) great
work.

Carlos solution had a few problems I don’t know if Mike fixed and Royce
solution doesn’t include the SLN build and file download.

So I take it JIRA is the way to go. Good.

Look on jira I think carlos has a pocket sphinx build up on there already.
Looks like mike comitted that today already. You can open a bug for mod_
shout :) also look at fsbuild-61 for mod_flite on windows.

Got it all working now and ready to be merged with the FS build.

What’s your preferred committing method? A JIRA post (just the diff/patch
file)? An SVN commit (I don’t have a branch)?

BTW, I also have pocketsphinx and mod_shout ready.

On-going challenge – port the fax2email (socket2me) add-on to win32.

While you're in there could you see if maybe you can get flite to compile on
windows? You'll have to apply that patch in tree to the current flite
version on our downloads/libs site. I have it working on Mac and Linux
right now.. sure would be nice to pickup windows in the process.

Thanks. It worked.

Now the only problem I have is that FS doesn’t load the module. I get this
error message on the console:

2008-07-18 04:47:10 [CRIT] switch_loadable_module.c:751
switch_loadable_module_load_file() Error Loading module
D:\pub\freeswitch\mod\mod_pocketsphinx.dll

**The specified module could not be found. **

I’m pretty sure I got the conf right and I can assure you that the DLL is
there.

Any way I can find out why it gave me this message?

mod_pocketsphinx won't link because ps_get_prob (line 365 in
mod_pocketsphinx.c) is undefined and unresolvable.

Could you, please, guide me to where should I link it to?

When I comment this line out, it's building just fine (VC2008).
