[Freeswitch-dev] C compiler cannot create executables

First try at compiling freeswitch, during make I get
error: C compiler cannot create executables.
I am probably missing some packages but no idea what exactly. maybe a  
depend list would be nice.

Using ubuntu kernel 2.6.15-26-386
gcc 403

In configure.log I see configure failed /*confdefs.h.*/
