What is a register_attempt?
I see register_attempt before every registration, and I also see it before unregistration. I searched the web and can’t find anything on it. Is it a FreeSwitch only thing? It is being issued by the client or something internally generated by FreeSwitch? Why would it be used before an unregistration? It would be of help to know this, thanks!
all events you subscribe to are freeswitch events so not sure what you mean. I think that event is fired on every received register message. Unregistration is also a register message. On Tue, Apr 9, 2019 at 11:33 AM mario_fs <mario_fs@mgtech.com> wrote:

Thank you! So “challenge” causes the LUA event trap "sofia::register_attempt” to be made before any register or unregister and that is what’s happening so is normal. Now I can move on to the stuff that is actually wrong (5-6 regs/unregs switching between client and push when should be 1 each). Thanks again! Mario G

if your endpoint does the nonce count right, it wouldn't do that, but not all devices do that properly. /b On Tue, Apr 9, 2019 at 6:22 PM mario_fs <mario_fs@mgtech.com> wrote:
