When I compile FS it gives me the following output. making all mod_lua make[5]: Entering directory `/usr/src/freeswitch.git/src/mod/languages/mod_lua' CXX mod_lua_la-mod_lua.lo CXX mod_lua_la-freeswitch_lua.lo CXX mod_lua_la-mod_lua_wrap.lo mod_lua_wrap.cpp: In function 'int* SWIG_get_int_num_array_fixed(lua_State*, int, int)': mod_lua_wrap.cpp:1379:47: error: array bound forbidden after parenthesized type-id #define SWIG_ALLOC_ARRAY(TYPE,LEN) new (TYPE)[LEN] ^ mod_lua_wrap.cpp:1433:9: note: in expansion of macro 'SWIG_ALLOC_ARRAY' array=SWIG_ALLOC_ARRAY(TYPE,size);\ ^ mod_lua_wrap.cpp:1470:1: note: in expansion of macro 'SWIG_DECLARE_TYPEMAP_ARR_FN' SWIG_DECLARE_TYPEMAP_ARR_FN(int,int); ^ mod_lua_wrap.cpp:1379:47: note: try removing the parentheses around the type-id #define SWIG_ALLOC_ARRAY(TYPE,LEN) new (TYPE)[LEN] ^ mod_lua_wrap.cpp:1433:9: note: in expansion of macro 'SWIG_ALLOC_ARRAY' array=SWIG_ALLOC_ARRAY(TYPE,size);\ ^ mod_lua_wrap.cpp:1470:1: note: in expansion of macro 'SWIG_DECLARE_TYPEMAP_ARR_FN' SWIG_DECLARE_TYPEMAP_ARR_FN(int,int); ^ mod_lua_wrap.cpp: In function 'int* SWIG_get_int_num_array_var(lua_State*, int, int*)': mod_lua_wrap.cpp:1379:47: error: array bound forbidden after parenthesized type-id #define SWIG_ALLOC_ARRAY(TYPE,LEN) new (TYPE)[LEN] ^ Any help would be greatly appreacited. Similar failure for me: http://pastiebin.com/553c4993ace8a
version FreeSWITCH Version 1.5.15b+git~20150420T021147Z~777c1154ee~32bit (git 777c115 2015-04-20 02:11:47Z 32bit)
lua52 was install from raspbian (because using raspberry pi2) but freeswitch is from master branch. I see there were two commits but I don't know enough about git to know the problem: https://freeswitch.org/stash/projects/FS/repos/freeswitch/commits -- ------- inum: 883510009027723 sip: jungleboogie@sip2sip.info xmpp: jungle-boogie@jit.si
I quickly realized that Im not on 1.4 branch and compiled using git branch 1.4 and now its all fine. On Sat, Apr 25, 2015 at 10:25 PM, jungle Boogie <jungleboogie0@gmail.com> wrote:

master, so if you're downloading from git add this '-b v1.4' like this: git clone -b v1.4 https://freeswitch.org/stash/scm/fs/freeswitch.git freeswitch.git see if this helps you out as well. On Sat, Apr 25, 2015 at 10:42 PM, jungle Boogie <jungleboogie0@gmail.com> wrote:

Or you can just clone the repo then issue "git checkout v1.4" and it takes you to the most recent commit on the v1.4 branch also. -Yossi On 04/25/2015 09:50 PM, SamyGo wrote:

Right, but I want to follow master so I'll have no wait until someone can fix it. -- ------- inum: 883510009027723 sip: jungleboogie@sip2sip.info xmpp: jungle-boogie@jit.si
I think this is the same issue, I opened a jira yesterday: https://freeswitch.org/jira/browse/FS-7474?jql=project%20%3D%20FS%20AND%20cr... <https://freeswitch.org/jira/browse/FS-7474?jql=project%20=%20FS%20AND%20created%3E=-1w%20ORDER%20BY%20created%20DESC>

Try a make reswig in the src/mod/languages/lua directory and see if that is a temporary workaround. Mario <mario_fs@mgtech.com> wrote:
