Add a Module to a Running System
I need to add a module to a running system. I thought I had seen instructions on how to do this without doing a complete rebuild/re-install, but I can't find the instructions now. So: is this in fact possible? If so, how do I proceed? Thanks for your time.
if you installed from packages apt-get install the package you need for the extra module if you built from source and still have that source on your box edit modules.conf in the root of your source tree and make install. if it requires additional dependancies you may need tonstart back at configure then make and make install and this will replace the binaries but will not change your configs. (make install only installs configs if none exist) Sent from my iPhone
