Hi all, Im trying to bridge 2 softswitch (sysmaster and mera mvts 2) using fs, i already setup the dialplan and external gateway in the sip profile but i'm having this trouble when trying to send call to the mvts 2, sometime the call could establish fine and the next minute the call to the same number failed with this error : variable_proto_specific_hangup_cause: [sip:500] variable_originate_disposition: [NORMAL_TEMPORARY_FAILURE] variable_hangup_cause: [NORMAL_TEMPORARY_FAILURE] what can cause this error? every failed call is never logged at the mvts2 box as like fs never sends the call but at the fs log i see that it already send the call to the right gateway (mvts2). -Pieter-
It would help if you provided a trace of the full console log and TPORT_LOG=1 (see http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Troubleshooting_Freeswitch) and post this to the pastebin at pastebin.freeswitch.org Sounds like a configuration issue somewhere

Also make sure you are running up to date code. it's possibly a bug that was already addressed. otherwise it may be an invalid url you are trying to send to sofia who will behave just like that when it cannot validate the url on the outbound invite. I guess show them the sip trace. I can't comment on mvts' lack of logging ability, but it is clearly getting the message and responding 500 to it. Mike Mike On Jun 2, 2008, at 1:30 AM, Pieter Eduard wrote:

The username and password for the pastebin is "pastebin/freeswitch", it should show up in the dialog box also when it asks for the username and password. That keeps the spam bots out. ;) On Jun 1, 2008, at 11:59 PM, Pieter Eduard wrote:
