Any way to incrementally reload xml?
Is there any way to incrementally replace/update xml dialplan configuration? i.e. without going all the way to full dynamic load with xml_curl or similar. -- Nathan ------------------------------------------------------------ Nathan Neulinger nneul@mst.edu Missouri S&T Information Technology (573) 612-1412 System Administrator - Architect
How about breaking-up your static xml config in multiple files and use xml_curl to load some of those "dynamically" with file:// URLs? François. On Fri, 2014-02-21 at 10:05 -0600, Nathan Neulinger wrote:

https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Dialplan "Anywhere you can specify a dialplan to route with (such as mod_sofia's configuration), you may specify multiples by comma separating them." so you can do XML:/path/to/file,XML that will use the static file first, then xml_curl if you have it set up. The wiki could probably use some expansion on this concept as i don't see the :file description . On Feb 21, 2014, at 11:05 AM, Nathan Neulinger <nneul@mst.edu> wrote:

Yeah, once a transition is made to making use of xml_curl and similar, lots of options get opened up. I'm specifically asking if there is something in between - where it isn't dynamically loaded, but is rather dynamically changed. Something equivalent to what you'd do with DOM updates in javascript. To be more clear, I'm also not necessarily talking about dialplan... I was meaning more generic - dynamically tweak ANY loaded xml. -- Nathan On 02/21/2014 10:23 AM, Michael Jerris wrote:

Only what Jerris said, you can use XML:/path/to/file.xml so it loads the file every single time thus you could edit it and it will instantly changed. Otherwise no. On Fri, Feb 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM, Nathan Neulinger <nneul@mst.edu> wrote:
