using multiple grammars in ASR recognition
Hello, I'm trying to make use of Nuance ASR engine for speech recognition. I succeed to make 'play_and_detect_speech' works in lua for speech only, but I want the recognizer to detect also dtmf that the user might enter. I did some "googling" but could not understand if there is a way to use multiple grammars. I found a clue saying this: "I need to update the wiki... it got out of sync last year when luke-jr added support for multiple grammars per session. Chris" Found in here - http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/mrcp-td6430573.html I also saw a C++ example to load grammars before calling the detect and thought maybe that can work but didn't find anything like it for lua. So my question - is that possible (and of course how...)? Thanks a lot for your help Zvi Agmon zvi@lexifone.com
I think your MRCP server should also be able to do the DTMF detection if you add it as a rule to the grammar. On Sun, Sep 22, 2013 at 8:52 AM, Zvi Agmon <zvi@lexifone.com> wrote:

Christopher, thanks for your reply, I tried to do it in several ways but couldn't make it work - either I got an error from Nuance or no results when entering a dtmf. Can you please send me an example of such grammar? Grammars can only be *either* speech or DTMF. You'll need to pass multiple grammars to Nuance. On 25 September 2013 06:48, Zvi Agmon <zvi@lexifone.com> wrote:

Thanks Ben, I know that in VXML it is possible to use multiple grammars and in our application we do make use of speech and dtmf combined. Now I'm trying to do the same but with Freeswitch instead of the VXML and I don't find the way to make it work - any idea?
