Hi guys, I am using the master version from couple of months ago. I started running it on an 8 CPU AWS instance on Ubuntu 14. It seems that FS is only using the first 4 CPUs. The load on the other 4 is consistently much lower and we started getting voice quality issues at about the same number of concurrent calls as a 4 CPU instance. Is this a known issue or am I imagining things?
Could you try running this test? https://txlab.wordpress.com/2015/04/10/testing-freeswitch-performance-on-sca... On Jun 15, 2015 9:33 PM, "Oleg Stolyar" <olegstolyar@gmail.com> wrote:

Just a theory but it could be related to what other guests are running on the EC2 host. VoIP and virtual machines don't generally go together very well. On 15 June 2015 at 20:32, Oleg Stolyar <olegstolyar@gmail.com> wrote:

Yeah, I know Steven :-(. Until now I have not had any issues and they are supposed to be dedicated instances. What I get out of these machines is still acceptable, so I'll just need to use a little more of them than I intended. On Mon, Jun 15, 2015 at 3:06 PM, Steven Ayre <steveayre@gmail.com> wrote:

why not using a physical machine instead? softlayer.com, for example, or a bunch of other hosters at competitive price On Tue, Jun 16, 2015 at 12:16 AM, Oleg Stolyar <olegstolyar@gmail.com> wrote:
