Freeswitch as the multicast to unicast converter (vice versa)
Hi, Is there way to create a multicast to unicast converter. Some of the endpoint is unicast endpoint and some of it is multicast endpoint. Huhuhu. This is my 3 'rd times I posting a message to freeswitch. I'm thinking of changing to asterisk to freeswitch, after read some technical review. But now I think I better stick my asterisk. Also, we have a first-time poster moderation to cut down on spam. It just so happened that your post didn't get cleared immediately. (I think a lot of our mods are already gone for the day/week.)
That being said, my recommendation is that if you have a compelling reason to stay with Asterisk then stay with Asterisk. If you have a compelling reason to switch to FreeSWITCH then switch to FreeSWITCH. Whatever you do I highly recommend that you do it for the right reason. How quickly people on the mailing list answer your question is a factor but it is much less important that if the software suits your needs. -MC
