I’ve updated the build instructions for both OpenBSD and NetBSD: https://confluence.freeswitch.org/display/FREESWITCH/OpenBSD https://confluence.freeswitch.org/display/FREESWITCH/NetBSD Please feel free to improve the docs for these, Seems in OpenBSD 5.5 their exists no OpenSSL that will work with FreeSWITCH so we have to build our own for now. -- Brian West brian@freeswitch.org Twitter: @FreeSWITCH , @briankwest http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 ISN: 410*543 Skype:briankwest PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED)

Could you please explicate this a bit? What are you missing? In the base system I can see an installed version 1.0.1c plus additional modules in packages. 1.0.1c doesn’t work with FreeSWITCH its missing many of the elements to make WebRTC work properly thus will not work and will require you to compile your own. They used to publish an openssl 1.0.1e in the packages for 5.4 but seems that isn’t present in 5.5. -- Brian West brian@freeswitch.org Twitter: @FreeSWITCH , @briankwest http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 ISN: 410*543 Skype:briankwest PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED) On May 16, 2014, at 3:07 AM, Dahlberg, David <david.dahlberg@fkie.fraunhofer.de> wrote:

Ah, I understand. Then let us see what they will happen when they replace OpenSSL in the base system with their own LibreSSL fork in 5.6. Thanks for supporting the "strange" OSes anyway. Knowing that one may have an OpenBSD router and a FreeSWITCH on the same machine, I just might get some very nasty ideas :-)) Cheers -- David Dahlberg Fraunhofer FKIE, Dept.
