Hi, I have the following issue: a carrier wants the A number in the contact field i.e.: Contact: <sip:+31xxxxxxxxx@ip.ad.dr.ess;[add. params]> I know; the contact is not up to the called party but they want it anyway. I spent quite some time, and I found some earlier mailing list threads but no answer that solves my particular problem. I noticed that by setting the extension parameter in the gateway configuration, this results in the desired header format. However, this is not dynamic and therefore not the A number (freeswitch runs in a SBC configuration, passing traffic in and out of the network). Is there any way to either pass the extension= parameter from the dialplan or somehow change the contact header? Thanks, Remco
It looks like these settings are poorly doc'ed on the wiki. This should be the one you need. Could someone clean up the docs on sofia gateway params? https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Authentication caller-id-in-from On Nov 22, 2013, at 4:09 AM, Remco van Vugt <remconl87@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Michael, Thanks for your answer. Caller-id-in-from works, however only for the from header. The contact header is not affected by this parameter. Probably it would be a good idea to include a similar parameter for the contact header? i.e. caller-id-in-contact. Regards, Remco Op 26 nov. 2013 15:15 schreef "Michael Jerris" <mike@jerris.com>:
