SIP calls in from provider
I have a provider wanting to route calls in via direct SIP address. I’m not sure exactly what’s needed as used to setting up a gateway with username and password. Can anyone summarise (or point me to) the steps required to make this work? Am thinking: - ACL for provider’s IPs - Something needed in ‘public’ dial plan to catch whateveraddress@mysipdomain.com - what exactly? - Anything else required?
You need only two things: 1. Adjust your public context to catch calls to your number and transfer them to default (example is in vanilla config already) 2. Ask your provider to call to 5080 port That's should be enough. Regards, Alex On Wed, Sep 5, 2018 at 11:24 PM Rick Jarvis <rick@magicmail.mooo.com> wrote:
