We are in need of three Polycom IP 650's for Wide band interop and conference testing in wideband. If anyone wants to figure a way for us to get our paws on these please email me off list. Thanks, Brian West
I released an ISO that loads CentOS 5 and FreeSWITRCH. This makes it easy to get FreeSWITCH up and running quickly. I will also release a VMware image if people are interested. Right now it doesnt do much except load FreeSWITCH. I think this is one of the best things that has been done. I was wondering if it is possible to make a default configuration of a simple PBX system, with two extensions with some default password that can call each other. that would be exciting for newbies. If you want, I can offer you an outbound trunk with both H323 and SIP, for testing purposes too. It be ended to some IVRs or Newsheadline reader for that trunk. so the users on your distro can test the connectivity of their box with the outside world. Hello all, I don't know much about creating distros and such, but it would be extremely helpful to have something like: If the kernel is know, which in this case it is because it is a complete distro: - Previously compiled drivers for, Sangoma, Digium, etc. for both analog and digital. - mysql connectivity with localhost - mod_perl already configured - sofia, woomera and iax, already working, maybe with simple routing for testing... I'll think of some more stuff.. There goes my little wish-list. In my opinion this would make freeSWITCH's market share explode as it would be trivial to have a professional system up and running in no time. Thanks a lot David On 10/10/07, AFShin Abdollahi <aafshini@gmail.com> wrote:

I released an ISO that loads CentOS 5 and FreeSWITRCH. This makes it easy to get FreeSWITCH up and running quickly. I will also release a VMware image if people are interested.
Right now it doesn't do much except load FreeSWITCH. Is there anything else people would like to see added to this distro?
