I have noticed that if I use start_dtmf_generate on the channel, bind_digit_action doesn't bind. Is this by design? Aron
The dtmf generator will eat the digit. See switch_ivr_async.c: 3002 - it's not hard to work around that or maybe add a channel variable to override this behavior. On Wed, Apr 15, 2015 at 12:35 PM, Podrigal, Aron <aronp@guaranteedplus.com> wrote:

Ok, so I was poking around in the code and I couldn't come up with a way to work around this. The way it is implemented now; switch_ivr_bridge.c:446 will pass the rfc2833 to the other channel, which is what we don't want. So since the same method is used by ivr_get_digits to check if there is digits on the channel, how would I work around this. So what would be the correct way around this? what happens if you bind before you call start_dtmf_generate?

Same problem exists in IVR's. so its not specific for bind_digit*. On Thu, Apr 16, 2015 at 5:27 PM, Michael Jerris <mike@jerris.com> wrote:
