Statuts on FS + ISDN?
Hello I'd like to know how well FreeSwitch currently works with ISDN (EuroISDN), whether through PCI cards or some external box. Can I recommend it to customers or is it still work-in-progress? Very well - check out http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/OpenZAP and its successor http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/FreeTDM. Both support EuroISDN. There are PCI cards that provide BRI/PRI interfaces. Sangoma is one company that produces such cards, and they actively contribute to the FreeSWITCH project so the support for them is pretty good. Most E1 card vendors offer an EuroISDN stack, just make sure it's ISDNv3 + you also need to consider if you need supplementary services or not.
