Run a js program as soon as someone registers with FS
Hi, I am wondering if it's possible to run a js program as soon as someone registers with a freeswitch. Thanks.
I believe someone gave you an answer the other day in IRC that had something related to monitoring for the "sofia::register" event. There are many ways to do this with the simplest way being to create an esl listener and watch for this event. This of course means that you will detect the condition in the external esl listener and can do whatever you want then. You also need to perhaps rethink why you want to do this in the first place(nobody knows what your intention is here). -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Run-a-js-program-as-soon-as-so... The idea is to automatically sign agents into call center queues as soon as they register with FS instead of having each agent dial 'login' to log into their queues. Can this be done without relying on an external ESL listener?

Not in any sane way, no. Plus its trivial to do. -- Anthony Minessale II FreeSWITCH http://www.freeswitch.org/ ClueCon http://www.cluecon.com/ Twitter: http://twitter.com/FreeSWITCH_wire AIM: anthm MSN:anthony_minessale@hotmail.com GTALK/JABBER/PAYPAL:anthony.minessale@gmail.com IRC: irc.freenode.net #freeswitch FreeSWITCH Developer Conference sip:888@conference.freeswitch.org googletalk:conf+888@conference.freeswitch.org pstn:+19193869900
