Hi, I'm bridging calls between two FS boxes (different region locations) where both are setup with proxy-media (RTP passthru). I would like to measure calls performence in real time. How to collect FS realtime RTP call stats of: - Packet loss - Jitter - Round trip delay. thanks Assaf -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Realtime-Call-stats-tp7592766.... voipmonitor.org Even without the gui (free), quite useful. Fantastic with the GUI (commercial). -- Nathan On 07/11/2013 03:06 AM, adahary wrote:

Nathan, Thanks for the link. It looks very good. I already have my own network monitoring tools and I'm just looking to read the call stats by counter/raw-data (I'll create my own plugin). I'm looking for the right api commands or events to get these data. assaf -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Realtime-Call-stats-tp7592766p... At the end of the call there are some RTP stats written to the XML CDR, but these are not available real-time from FreeSWITCH itself. What kind of process do you have that will be looking at these stats? Just curious. -MC On Thu, Jul 11, 2013 at 6:40 AM, adahary <adahary@gmail.com> wrote:

The CDR provides timers and counters stats which I can use for some post calculation but the result is average and cannot point out on any jitter/latency event. My endpoints are usually mobiles which are already operating over problematic 3g networks and then have to connect over 1 (if both on same node) or 2 (if each on different node) FS nodes. I have to monitor latency/jitter to make sure that any RTP package coming into each FS is being efficienly routed out of the remote FS to the other endpoint. I cannot control the performence of the 3g network (still trying to use best codec) but can do my best to monitor and manage the FS network.
