Problem with freetdm+libpri (euroisdn): T316 timed out
Hi, I'm currently trying to set up a new freeswitch box and consistently run in a problem with pri-line initialization (I think). Basically I get "T316 timed out" for all but a very few channels, which get "Channel not opened, proceeding anyway" and become available. This does not seem to happen when using openzap instead of freetdm. The log file looks like this: 2013-06-27 08:25:17.560815 [WARNING] ftmod_libpri.c:1997 [s1c1][1:1] -- T316 timed out, resending RESTART request .. for all channels 2013-06-27 08:25:22.600817 [WARNING] ftdm_io.c:3013 [s1c1][1:1] Channel not opened, proceeding anyway 2013-06-27 08:25:47.560814 [WARNING] ftmod_libpri.c:1997 [s1c2][1:2] -- T316 timed out, resending RESTART request .. for all channels but the first 2013-06-27 08:26:22.600778 [WARNING] ftdm_io.c:3013 [s1c3][1:3] Channel not opened, proceeding anyway 2013-06-27 08:26:47.560815 [ERR] ftmod_libpri.c:1993 [s1c4][1:4] -- T316 timed out, channel reached restart attempt limit '3' and is suspended 2013-06-27 08:26:47.560815 [ERR] ftmod_libpri.c:1993 [s1c5][1:5] -- T316 timed out, channel reached restart attempt limit '3' and is suspended .. for all channels but the first three or so Eventually the first 3 or so channels are available. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Regards Peter
Its a bug probably due to which only 2-3 channels get started. You will have to make little changes in the source and recompile mod_freetdm and it will be done. Just follow these steps: 1. Go to FS source directory and change dir to this path libs/freetdm/src/ftmod/ftmod_libpri 2. change #define T316_TIMEOUT_MS_DEFAULT to 10000 3. #define T316_TIMEOUT_MS_MAX to 300000 4. #define T316_ATTEMPT_LIMIT_DEFAULT to 30 (max. channels in PRI lines) After this recompile mod_freetdm and restart freeswitch. You will see channels restarting one by one. Also during this period in which the channels are restart do not make calls as it will show NORMAL_CIRCUIT_CONGESTION. It will take some time to restart the channels and after that your PRI line will be up and running. On Thu, Jun 27, 2013 at 12:27 PM, Peter Waldheim <struwwelp@gmail.com>wrote:
