No Ringback on few calls
Hi, I am facing an inconsistent behavior in getting Ringback for calls. When I call to few numbers, I am not getting ringback tone. I did capture the packets and checked the difference between the call which I get RBT and failed case. I couldn't figure out what is stopping Freeswitch to provide '183 session progress' to the application after receiving '180 ringing' from the server on the other side. I checked the other server and it is sending the tone to FS, it is in FS machine the tone it not forwarded due to some reason. In Freeswitch log, there is no log for "Sending early media" in case of failure case. I've attached the packet capture for the calls. It has both working and non-working case. Please help me in debugging this issue.
I would have to guess you’re having NAT fun here, as I see SDP’s from Jitsi with private addresses and 180’s also with private addresses. Check your signaling and nat and it will probably be able to solve it, What do you have set for your ext-rtp-ip/ext-sip-ip and local-network-acl? -- Brian West brian@freeswitch.org Twitter: @FreeSWITCH , @briankwest http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 ISN: 410*543 Skype:briankwest PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED) On May 12, 2014, at 5:20 PM, Nagalenoj H. <nagalenoj@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Brian, I've checked those parameters you've suggested and I feel they are fine. Both ext-rtp-ip/ext-sip-ip has the FS machine's IP(which is not a local IP). Also, Ringback is not working only for few calls. If it is some problem with NAT or Sip settings, then it won't be working for all cases, right?! Please tell me if I am wrong. In the pcap I've sent in last mail, there are 2 calls made. In first call, I got the ringback and in the second call, I didn't get ringback tone. Hi friends, I've tried resolving the problem and finally it got solved when I set ignore_early_media=false. Thanks Brian for your response. On Fri, May 16, 2014 at 3:59 PM, Nagalenoj H. <nagalenoj@gmail.com> wrote:
