fs_encode opus to wav is it possible
Hi, i'm trying to get rtp opus to a wav file using fs_encode but is not working... anyone have tried to decode rtp with opus? can it be done with fs_encode? So for what i did was: - wireshark -> rtp streams -> save as raw format - fs_encode -v -l mod_opus 0x60f26a47.opus audio.wav fs_encode creates the audio.wav but is empty.. i've done this with g729 files but with opus is not working... You can check the output of the command in https://pastebin.freeswitch.org/view/9cedcf56 Thanks for the help. -- Saludos / Regards / Cumprimentos, António silva
Hi , There's no OGG/OPUS support for now in FS because it's missing in libsndfile, the lib FS is using to handle audio formats. It can be added by using libopusfile either in the lib, either directly into FS. Cheers, Dragos On Wed, Apr 26, 2017 at 9:37 AM, Antonio Silva <asilva@wirelessmundi.com> wrote:

i've support for opus in FS, i compile it using libopus in fs, this call in particular is doing transcoding from opus to pcmu so the transcoding is working. When i execute fs_encode i can see the support for ggg files: 2017-04-26 10:28:14.165725 [INFO] mod_sndfile.c:396 LibSndFile Version : libsndfile-1.0.25 Supported Formats .. OGG (OGG Container format) (extension "oga") OGG (OGG Container format) (extension "ogg") .. So, if i not mistake the decode/encode should have work? HI, why don't you just record to an wav file?? And "wireshark -> rtp streams -> save as raw format "---------------------- you just got a file with ip packet format. not the "raw audio format" Raymond At 2017-04-26 16:37:05, "Antonio Silva" <asilva@wirelessmundi.com> wrote:

Hi, i want to analyze the audio that i received from the link... recording is not an options since it introduces transcoding in fs. I do this method for all other codecs like g722, g729, (PCMU/A not need wireshark can play it or you can save as .au), i get the all the rtp pkt and convert then with fs_encode to wav to reproduce with normal player. Bur for opus i can't figure out how to make it work... i already try to pass the fmtp args negotiated in the sdp with no luck.. Maybe ,you can record it ,save it as "raw" format . Plz look at wiki to ensure it. Wiki is the first place to find the solution.
