Freeswitch won't start on Centos 6.5
I'm trying to get the latest master version of Freeswitch running on Centos 6.5 (FS 1.4 works fine). If I try to manually start FS up, I get: # ./freeswitch -version FreeSWITCH version: 1.5.13b+git~20140623T005141Z~557f1d05ac~64bit (git 557f1d0 2014-06-23 00:51:41Z 64bit) # ./freeswitch -c 2014-06-23 16:31:16.375314 [INFO] switch_event.c:670 Activate Eventing Engine. 2014-06-23 16:31:16.375972 [WARNING] switch_event.c:652 Create additional event dispatch thread 0 2014-06-23 16:31:16.422306 [INFO] switch_nat.c:419 Scanning for NAT 2014-06-23 16:31:16.422729 [DEBUG] switch_nat.c:169 Checking for PMP 1/5 I've tried adding the -nonat, -noatmap and -nort flags, but get the same result. Thanks Peter
This sounds possible the same as the other ML thread posted today by mayamatakeshi. If he confirms with strace that it's the same then it's been reproduced by someone else. I'd then suggest filing a Jira and moving the discussion there. On 23 June 2014 07:36, Peter <eidevm5@gmail.com> wrote:

I think this issue is likely related to the thread started by Craig Stevenson earlier today. I'm also seeing the same behavior with a newly updated FS from git master. In my case I'm running the VPS through hypervisor. On Mon, Jun 23, 2014 at 3:57 PM, Brian West <brian@freeswitch.org> wrote:

I've tried adding the -nonat, -noatmap and -nort flags, but get the same result.
Running strace reveals it gets stuck at:

Should I raise a Jira ticket?
