Hi guys, Is there a way FressSWITCH exposes its list of APIs to third party clients? As in, I have a client and I want to invoke a FreeSWITCH API - Is there anywhere my application can look into to find out what is the list of parameters required? What would a SIP request to FressSWITCH querying about the API name and it's respective parameterlist look like? Does FressSWITCH support such a request basically? - I suppose it does, it has all of it's data in XML format. What would the response be like? Thanks a million, Gayatri Kulkarni.
We have the fsapi interface which is available via the console, event socket, xml-rpc, http and others. It is not exposed to sip itself. Can you describe a bit of what your use case is for this? Mike On Aug 20, 2008, at 4:23 AM, Gayatri Kulkarni wrote:

Actually, I wanted to know is there anyway by which FS publishes it's functionality to other network elements? I suppose the fsapi interface you have mentioned should be a way of doing it but not sufficient - correct? On Wed, Aug 20, 2008 at 8:40 AM, Michael Jerris <mike@jerris.com> wrote:

We have a zeroconf module but never did much with it. You can get a list of things you can do via the fsapi interface. I am still not really clear what you are trying to accomplish. Do you have a concrete use case? Mike On Aug 21, 2008, at 1:23 AM, Gayatri Kulkarni wrote:

Yes: I have FS installed on my PC. I have a Jini-based application server and I need to invoke FS's functionality through it - but for that FS should first tell the Jini server what all it can provide. DOes it do this in any way?
