FS public server call FS test server behind NAT
Hi All, I am setting up a test machine to learn more on. That means I will be posting here more!! Currently I have: FS 1.2 (Centos) PRODUCTION <= public IP (through router) => (WAN) <= home router => NAT Cisco Phones working <= home router => NAT OLD AASTRA 480i Phones NOT working <= home router => FS 1.4 DEBIAN TEST working LAN only OLD AASTRA 480i Phones working LAN Only Cisco Phones working to both FYI: The home router is from Verizon FIOS. My phone work the same with SIP ALG on or off. Is it possible to have the production FS punch through the NAT and call the test server? Does TEST need to register with Production? If so, where do I find the setup info. YES, I have googled this but have not found what I need. I would really like a push in the right direction. Thanks, Sean
You could either have FS-test register to FS-production or use port forwarding through NAT. FS can run behind NAT. On 30 October 2014 15:53, Sean Devoy <sdevoy@bizfocused.com> wrote:

I'm going to go with rport for $200 Alex. Didn't we already have this discussion about rport on the client needing to be on? Maybe I was dreaming. On Thu, Oct 30, 2014 at 10:53 AM, Sean Devoy <sdevoy@bizfocused.com> wrote:

Brian, Why are you being such a BITCH to me? This question has nothing to do with the AASTRA 480i that has NO SETTING for RPORT. We established that and have shown they do not work behind NAT. I have them working perfectly on the local LAN. They also have almost nothing to do with this question. RTF question before you send back your snotty highbrow comments. I even tried to make a picture for you, but you may still need to read. The question is about 2 FreeSwitch boxes communicating. Anyone with a helpful response, I would be grateful for the nudge in the right direction. I'm not a bitch, I'm just very busy... Have you bothered looking at the signaling? It would tell you where the break down is, maybe pastebin the sip trace and we can look at it. On Thu, Oct 30, 2014 at 3:39 PM, Sean Devoy <sdevoy@bizfocused.com> wrote:
