PAP2T spamming registrations
Hello Is it possible to tell a phone to slow down with the registrations through FS? I got a PAP2T which sends REGISTER every second to FS. //Jonas
yep. But I have no access to the device. As I remember the SIP RFC, a registrar can suggest an expires value to the UA? Is it possible with FS? On Wed, Sep 8, 2010 at 8:29 AM, Puskás Zsolt <errotan@elder.hu> wrote:

Yes, FS can send an expire value but 1 second is too fast. I would do a factory reset on that PAP2 and do a wireshark trace what is going on. Also which FS version are you using ? Have you tried to register to another proxy with that PAP2 ? 2010. szeptember 8. 10:46:23 dátummal Jonas Gauffin az alábbiakat írta:

You have to add the following in the directory entry for the user: <variable name="sip-force-expires" value="60"/> But I guess the UA may not use that value to override its internal register timeout.
