Finally got this working but have a couple simple things to work out. The gain seems rather excessive, I assumed zt.conf's rx|txgain was where this needed to be adjusted, but values did not have an effect there. I have disabled the echo canceller in zt.conf as per the recent thread and the results with the mg2 canceller are not very good, is it also required to be disabled when using any echo canceller in dahdi? Thanks, jlc
hi joseph, have u tested the Oslec echo-canceller? -nandy On Wed, Mar 24, 2010 at 12:37 PM, Joseph L. Casale < jcasale@activenetwerx.com> wrote:

We're using OSLEC with DAHDI compiled from source. Follow the directions on the OSLEC web page for DAHDI. We haven't tested it extensively, because our system is just for playing around, but it seems to be working fine. You will, of course, get the best results from a good card with hardware echo cancellation. -- Russell Mosemann

Ok, I was just hoping to use packages. I'll try this if digiums repo doesn't come back online soon, its down atm:)
hi joseph, the TDM400P is in the back burner for the meantime. i shifted to gateways. i was using digium zaptel source. it was working w/ oslec. i just had problems in the call progress tone detection for Philippine settings. i think i should try again using the dahdi package. -nandy On Wed, Mar 24, 2010 at 6:31 PM, Joseph L. Nandy, I'd love to, but I have never had any luck getting it to work. Currently, I am using dahdi packages from digiums yum repo. Are you using rpm's or compiling from source?

Looking back through my notes I see Anthony Messina suggested I use his build script to create the rpms w/ oslec enabled which I just did except that the script at http://messinet.com/trac/rpms/browser/tools/svn-build-rpm doesn’t build dahdi-tools-libs which is required. Anyone know the workaround? Thanks guys, jlc

Heh, to early in the morning, forgot about dahdi-tools...
