We are having issues sending out DTMF, primarily when dial any conference bridge. My provider asked me to send 'a=fmtp:101 0-15' instead of 'a=fmtp:101 0-16'. They do not accept flash. Appreciate if anyone can let me know how we can fix that. Thanks Bilal
Its currently hardcoded in our code. Would require a new option to let you set that. That being said, this is a negotiated setting, us sending 0-16 shouldn’t cause anything to fail. If its failing the call because of that, that seems to me to be a problem they should correct on their switch. Its really strange to see this required on the sending side.

That is weird, I asked the provider that isn't it a negotiated setting. He said 'No'. Can you point me to a doc that confirms it, will send it to the service provider. Thanks Bilal On Mon, Apr 10, 2017 at 10:44 AM, Michael Jerris <mike@jerris.com> wrote:

Hi, Bilal How about "rewrite sdp" function ,if you didn't care about the real problem. check it out https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Channel_Variables#switch_r_sdp But, Its really strange to see this required on the sending side. Like Michael said. I don't think it will help you resolve the "real" problem.
