Is curl.run() blocking until a result is got
Dear All, In the below example from FS wiki, can I be sure that "my_callback" will be called before session.hangup() is excuted? Thanks a lot Jasper use("CURL"); function my_callback(string, arg) { console_log("info", string); return true; } if (session.ready()) { session.answer(); var curl = new CURL(); curl.run("POST", "http://www.freeswitch.org/curltest/", "foo=bar&this=has+spaces+in+it", my_callback, "my arg\n", "user:s3cr3tpw"); session.hangup(); }
Thanks for your help It's very simple. I just want to retrieve some information from other web server. And proceed the call processing based on the result I got Regards Jasper On Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 12:57 AM, Brian West <brian@freeswitch.org> wrote:

I think what Brian is getting at is that you might be better off using mod_xml_curl depending on your scenario. More details would be helpful. -MC On Mon, Sep 20, 2010 at 10:25 AM, Brian West <brian@freeswitch.org> wrote:

Actually I am still at poc stage to understand more on the capability of FS I just thinking about a dynamic IVR type application. Where logic and controls are stored in a J2EE web server. e.g. FS receive a call FS WS query -> <- play prompt, collect digit digit collected -> <- play prompt ...... You might be better off doing your stuff in C! /b On Sep 20, 2010, at 1:17 PM, Storm Demo wrote:

Hi Brian Sorry do you mean I should use C instead of JS for call control? Thanks Jasper On Tue, Sep 21, 2010 at 2:27 AM, Brian West <brian@freeswitch.org> wrote:
