Upper limit on user name length
What's the upper limit on how long a user name can be? I'm thinking of putting in JSON Web Tokens as user names and JWTs can become quite long if you stick a lot of data in them. Oivvio
I don't think we have a hard limit. Depending on protocol there may be encoding requirements for certain characters.

It might be interesting to have a standard way to do this implemented into a module using a standard param pushed from the signaling mods into the user lookup.
