rxfax now prints header data at top of image
Hello, I've upgraded a FreeSWITCH-based fax receiving application from 1.2 to 1.10. Now on 1.10 I see a fax header printed onto the top of the TIFF image that wasn't there in 1.2. Is there parameter or variable I can set to suppress it? Regards, Jeff
And...it had been a long day. I figured out rxfax wasn't doing it, but rather txfax on the sending side. The documentation <https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/mod_spandsp> says to set fax_header to '_undef_', which I could get to work as expected if I did it in spandsp.conf.xml. I couldn't get it to work if I did it inside the originate {} command I send from the command line. If I set fax_header to anything there, even _undef_, that's exactly what it sends. I have to skip it on the command line to get it to suppress itself. Works for me. - Jeff On Tue, Sep 29, 2020 at 7:53 PM Jeff Pyle <jeff@ugnd.org> wrote:

Hi, https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/mod_spandsp#mod_spandsp... I think you're refering to fax_ident and fax_header variables. You can undef them to not have the printed header on your page :) Alexis Le 30/09/2020 à 01:53, Jeff Pyle a écrit :
