Help with [Exchange_Routing_Error]: is there a maximum number of transfers on a call?
set the max_hops variable higher but we honor what the inbound invite has in it.. so every time you transfer that hop count gets decremented so you're starting off low.... and that is the reason you're getting that error. /b On Sep 3, 2010, at 11:22 AM, Victor Chukalovskiy wrote:
I have a following observation: After making 5 or so "transfer xxx XML default" in my dial-plan call brakes with [Exchange_Routing_Error]. This seems to be dependent on the number of extensions the call goes through, and not on the extensions content itself.
Could someone please confirm or deny such a behaviour? If this is true would be nice to know where this"max number" can be increased/decrease.
P.S. I'm using "transfer" and multiple consequential extensions as a workaround for "Variables Availability". Thank you, Victor __________
if you add inline="true" to your set, the variables will be set instantly instead of when the extension executes. the max-forwards is in the 70's range and can probably be set higher. On Fri, Sep 3, 2010 at 11:22 AM, Victor Chukalovskiy <Victor@isptelecom.net> wrote:

The current value of max_forwards is always kept in the "max_forwards" variable, would you ever need to increase it. Mathieu Rene Avant-Garde Solutions Inc Office: + 1 (514) 664-1044 x100 Cell: +1 (514) 664-1044 x200 mrene@avgs.ca On 2010-09-03, at 2:25 PM, Victor Chukalovskiy wrote:
