Anyone have any actual technical details of the new robocall verification stuff being turned up by various large providers?
All of the articles I've seen are just the dumbed down public info with an occasional technical buzzword thrown in. https://tech.slashdot.org/story/19/04/17/1659243/t-mobile-comcast-turn-on-ca... -- Nathan ------------------------------------------------------------ Nathan Neulinger nneul@mst.edu Missouri S&T Information Technology (573) 341-6679 System Administrator - Architect (573) 612-1412 System and Desktop Infrastructure Team Manager

Excellent, thank you very much for the info. Not sure how useful it would be until it's wide scale - but any plans to implement anything for either the receiving or sending side of this in FS? -- Nathan -------- Original Message -------- From: Ramesh Kandasamy [mailto:ramelcom@gmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, April 17, 2019, 5:26 PM To: FreeSWITCH Users Help <freeswitch-users@lists.freeswitch.org> Subject: [Freeswitch-users] Anyone have any actual technical details of the new robocall verification stuff being turned up by various large providers? We are actually researching this, the issue is there are no CAs that issue certificates that can be used, so everyone currently exchanges traffic with self signed certs. I'm told the CA will be up and running sometime in November. If you wish to discuss this or sponsor the work involved in adding this functionality please contact consulting@freeswitch.org Thanks, Brian On Wed, Apr 17, 2019 at 8:31 PM Nathan Neulinger <nneul@mst.edu> wrote:
