Windows installation problem!
Hello everybody I've been trying to test the Freeswitch on windows and as I need the mod_skypopen , so I need to build it from source. I followed the wiki page but it's very unclear at some points. I have built the solution but with many warnings and errors like files that couldn't fine and so on, below is the link to the txt file of output messages. Please kindly see if all are right here? And also after building the solution where is executable files and output, How can I run the Freeeswitch? Do I need to install it then or is it ready? This part is not clear for people who are not familiar with Visual studio. the installer package is more clear as it copies the files in the program files and ready to run. Do you know any installer with skypopen and gtalk module maybe? output file: http://www.aisoftworld.com/build.txt Many thanks for your help in advance.
First of all. Don't use "Rebuild All", it's never done anything good :) I think the best would be to clean the directory again (using a fresh git clone, or do "git clean -fdx"). Then do a Build, instead of Rebuild. That should make things work better. When it's done, just execute the output executable found in the Debug folder. /Peter 2014-07-17 4:04 GMT+02:00 farzad jahangiri sisakht <pardis741@yahoo.com>:

Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention that I've been using VS 2010 on a windows server datacenter edition 2012 on a VPS. Do you think this can affect the process and can I create an installer in another windows and then install it on the target vps? I think the installer could get installed but the problem is that the I need more than default modules. Thanks again. Thanks peter I just finished it and it says: build successful with: 19 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 up-to-date, 151 skipped I used : https://stash.freeswitch.org/scm/fs/freeswitch.git is this normal? Also which folder is the output now? There's no X64 folder there and in the Win32/release there's just a sound folder.

I've been trying to test the Freeswitch on windows and as I need the

I have built the solution but with many warnings and errors like files that couldn't fine and so on, below is the link to the txt file of output messages. Please kindly see if all are right here? And also after building the solution where is executable files and output, How can I run the Freeeswitch? Do I need to install it then or is it ready? This part is not clear for people who are not familiar with Visual studio. the installer package is more clear as it copies the files in the program files and ready to run.

Hello everybody
I've been trying to test the Freeswitch on windows and as I need the mod_skypopen , so I need to build it from source. Do you know any installer with skypopen and gtalk module maybe?
output file: http://www.aisoftworld.com/build.txt
Many thanks for your help in advance.

That should make things work better.
When it's done, just execute the output executable found in the Debug folder.

Hello everybody
I've been trying to test the Freeswitch on windows and as I need the mod_skypopen , so I need to build it from source.

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks for all helps and guides. As last question that may be too basic: In fusionpbx guide it says to debug and the build a release, then copy the release folder in root of drive c. But when I follow the skypopen guide for window, it says : "Then, go into src\mod\endpoints\mod_skypopen\configs/ and edit startskype.bat.." And also when I build the 16khz sound files it goes to lib folder. x64/Debug or x64/Relese will contain the entire application. Including config etc. Just copy the folder where you want, and execute freeswitchconsole.exe. söndag 20 juli 2014 skrev farzad jahangiri sisakht <pardis741@yahoo.com>:
Thanks for all helps and guides. As last question that may be too basic: In fusionpbx guide it says to debug and the build a release, then copy the release folder in root of drive c. But when I follow the skypopen guide for window, it says :
"Then, go into src\mod\endpoints\mod_skypopen\configs/ and edit startskype.bat.." And also when I build the 16khz sound files it goes to lib folder. My debug and release folders are in X64 in FS_GIT in C, the question is that after building the whole system, what folders would be my freeswitch application? Do I need to keep whole source folder which is including the debug/release folders too and run things from inside them, or is it necessary to have a folder in C or program files called FreeSWITCH?

Hello again. I faced another problem that as there was a problem with portaudio module before and there's a line in the logs about switch_time.c in this module I thought this problem may be related to that. Here is the problem: When I run the freeswitchconsole and run : load mod_skypopen that makes program crash and I then need to close it. I have attached the log file, plus 3 screenshots. It maybe related that when I run the freeswitch sometimes it stays at last message : 2014-07-21 04:08:39.995168 [INFO] switch_time.c:602 Clock synchronized to system time. till I press the enter to go to command line. (screenshot 1) In two other picture I have showed what is happening when I try to load the mod_skypopen. I also have attached the logs. Thanks again for your time.
Thanks

This part is not clear for people who are not familiar with Visual studio. the installer package is more clear as it copies the files in the program files and ready to run. Do you know any installer with skypopen and gtalk module maybe?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks Peter and Giovanni , I just did it : https://jira.freeswitch.org/browse/FS-6677 Thanks On Monday, 21 July 2014, 15:17, Peter Olsson <peter@olssononline.se> wrote: Please report on Jira.
(screenshot 1)
In two other picture I have showed what is happening when I try to load the mod_skypopen. I also have attached the logs.
Thanks again for your time.

x64/Debug or x64/Relese will contain the entire application. Including config etc. Just copy the folder where you want, and execute freeswitchconsole.exe.

Thanks
