Instant Message Gateway
Hello, how can I configure FreeSWITCH to act as a gateway for Instant Messages. For example it should translate a SIP Instant Message into an XMPP Instant Message. Can the behavior of mod_sofia configured in any way so that it does not forward IMs automatically or not at all? It many not send messages if manage presence is disabled, but you would have to check that to be sure. I don't think we have a setting specifically to turn IM handling on and off, but it would be easy enough to add. We gladly accept patches at http://jira.freeswitch.org.
