Originate Failed. Cause: NORMAL_TEMPORARY_FAILURE
Hi Guys, I am trying to implement DID -> Local extension calling feature in FS. But all the time when i am calling DID number and its try to dial local extension number, we are getting NORMAL_TEMPORARY_FAILURE. I tried everything like changed codes, changed some settings in sip profile but nothing come up. It looks like some network topology can be the issue. Here is the log, http://pastebin.com/J8UhxQKt Can anybody please check and help me? Thanks in advance. Thanks, Sam -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Originate-Failed-Cause-NORMAL-... Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
Is your FS server 10.195.0.1? If so, is there a user 12345 registered to it? Try using "user/12345" instead of "sofia/default/12345%10.195.0.1" - the user channel does lots of work for you so you should take advantage of that wherever possible. -MC On Tue, Jul 23, 2013 at 11:02 AM, smrdoshi <smrdoshi@gmail.com> wrote:

It might be a NAT issue if you are running FS behind the NAT, check your NAT settings. On 23.07.2013 11:02, smrdoshi wrote:

Hi Guys, Thanks for the reply. Yeah it seems my FS is behind NAT. But I am not sure where to check NAT settings? Can you please point out where should i check it? Thanks again for the help. Hi Sam, I'm not sure what you mean by checking your NAT settings. If you mean your auto-nat settings in FS, please look on the following page for anything containing the word 'nat'; http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Sofia.conf.xml#Settings On a side note have a read through these pages as this should give you a better understanding of how NAT and FS works http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/NAT https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/NAT_Traversal http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/General_NAT_example_scenarios https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Networking http://www.onlinesolution.co.nz/viewtopic.php?p=144 Hope this helps Cal On Wed, Jul 24, 2013 at 9:18 AM, smrdoshi <smrdoshi@gmail.com> wrote:
