Using Freeswitch 1.2 on UBUNTU 12.04 and working well except there is one telephone number which I cannot call. When I reported it to our VOIP supplier he found that for that telephone number we have fragmented packets. Below is his comments. How can I fix this in Freeswitch. I do not know where to make the change. Thanks Hi,
From what I can see, there is fragmentation when trying to call the number. The packet size is 1514 bytes where the data is 1480 bytes. Also, your system sends this is the INVITE:
X-Serialnumber: 0004134129BA P-Key-Flags: resolution="31x13", keys="4" which could be removed to lower the packet size.
I'm not sure what either of those headers are, I don't think we send either by default. What does that packet we are actually sending look like? On Dec 11, 2013, at 6:59 AM, Charles Bujold <cjbujold@accra.ca> wrote:

Its probably also worth noting that P- and X- headers are private headers that anyone/thing can add... Several of the P-Headers are RFC¹d for specific purposes (like in IMS) On 12/11/13 11:16 AM, "Michael Jerris" <mike@jerris.com> wrote:

Those headers represent a small portion of the entire packet. What does your SDP look like? Can you minimize that at all? On Wed, Dec 11, 2013 at 6:59 AM, Charles Bujold <cjbujold@accra.ca> wrote:

You probably are going over the mtu and messing up the udp invite. You can try TCP or turning on compact headers to get some of the bytes back. On Wed, Dec 11, 2013 at 12:56 PM, Kristian Kielhofner <kris@kriskinc.com>wrote:
