OneWay Bridge Channels
Hi! Does anybody know if there is a way to "bridge" an answered channel to a channel that is in "early media" state? The scenario is like this: Channel A Channel B -------------------> FS -------------> (pre_answer, park) (answer) <---<---<---<---<--- Audio <---<---<--- When the channel A arrives I pre_answer and park it, so it is in "early media" state. After that I originate the channel B. When the channel B answers I just want to relay the audio coming from B to A, I don't care if A can't talk to B at that moment. Is there a way to achieve this? Some ideas? Thnks! - Regards, Víctor Toofic
yes, don't park it, have it dial the other leg with the bridge app. originate <dialstring1> bridge:<dialstring2> inline On Fri, Mar 26, 2010 at 2:40 PM, Victor Toofic <toofics@gmail.com> wrote:

I don't get it. What is "<dialstring2>" for? I'm not originating both legs of the call. I already have the incoming A leg in the switch and I want it to stay in early media and "bridge" it one-way only to a originated B leg that is always answered since the very first second. What I am trying to do is some kind of call progress supervision on the B leg and answer and bridge to the A leg only when I detect the B leg was really answered. Before that I just want to pass the audio coming from the answered B leg to the early-media-state A leg.. so the A leg can hear the ringback tones, voice-mail messages, etc. I already detect the tones and when the B leg is really answered, at that moment I can do an uuid_bridge of both uuids and get the legs bridged. But I don't see how I could pass audio from B to A before answering the A leg. Is this possible in any way with FS?? Maybe I didn't understand you, but I don't see how could it be possible to do it with an inline dialplan. Thnks!! On Fri, 2010-03-26 at 17:31 -0500, Anthony Minessale wrote:

Because the B leg is always immediately answered, it is giving false answer. The ringback, busy and fastbusy tones are being played once it is answered. And if I use the bridge app.. once the B leg gets answered it answers the A leg. On Fri, 2010-03-26 at 19:33 -0500, Anthony Minessale wrote:

It seems I've found a way to achieve this. To pass audio from an answered channel B to an early-media channel A, without answering A, you can do it as follows: - When channel A arrives: - pre_answer - park - get its uuid - Originate channel B: - get its uuid - uuid_transfer ChannelA-UUID eavesdrop:ChannelB-UUID inline A little bit tricky, but it seems to work.
