Any sipphone would do. If you want advanced features, go with snom, polycom, yealink. sent from my mobile, Giovanni Maruzzelli cell: +39 347 266 56 18 On Jun 18, 2015 2:48 PM, "Moishe Grunstein" <max@nysolutions.com> wrote:

From my experience: Polycoms are the best, most expensive and somewhat larger learnning curve; i.e., it will take you more time to setup the first phone, but once you've done this, the others will be easy and your users will love these phones. The second option is Yealink; much cheaper, but good quality. Most of our new phones are Yealnks, and out users are happy with them.

These are all good recommendations. May I ask that those of you who have specific models not mentioned on the Confluence wiki please test the phones for the handful of features and fill out a compatibility/interoperability page for that model of phone? It would give peace of mind to others asking the same question to know what features work and which do not. There’s a table that is pretty sparse on https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Phones Child pages include Grandstream, Yealink, Cisco, and others. Have at it! I will gladly add Cisco SPA500 section – IF someone will add me to the DOCs group so I can edit it. I also just did a new Debian install and would like to fix a couple of typos. (Install page links to “Debian” not “Debian+7”) (Debian+7 has cp lines that refer to /usr/src/freeswitch/… and it is /usr/src/freeswitch.git/…) Sean From: freeswitch-users-bounces@lists.freeswitch.org [mailto:freeswitch-users-bounces@lists.freeswitch.org] On Behalf Of Bote Man Sent: Friday, June 19, 2015 5:57 PM To: 'FreeSWITCH Users Help' Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] suggest some SIP hard phones (Support freeswitch). We have a single Grandstream DECT version. It has acceptable, not stellar reliability. It requires an occasional reboot to re-establish connectivity to some4 of the handsets. We have 4 Polycom IP 335s. They are completely useless behind NAT. I tried for weeks to get them configured. All the help I got said to change a parameter that does not exist in this model. These FREE to FS staff if they want them. We have about 35 CISCO SPA504Gs. Not cheap, but 100% reliable “Business Class” phones. I know I am in a small minority with these on FS, but we LOVE THEM. You are not alone n the SPA504Gs, I find they are absolutely the most reliable phone on the Freeswitch of all ip phones, grandstream is second. Both products fully support Line Registration or Shared Line registration, many other models do that are so easy to work with. We have well over a 100 sets of both maufacuturers working on freeswitches. Trouble reports, zero. No, just the 5xxg series, I have good luck with them and get them for about 105 canadian, which is about 85 us, so a pretty good price for a quality product. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sean Devoy To: FreeSWITCH Users Help Sent: Saturday, June 20, 2015 1:10 PM Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] suggest someSIP hardphones (Support freeswitch). but you could install a small FreeSWITCH server in a remote branch where these phones were planned. For example, a pcengines.ch APU board with an enclosure and SSD disk would cost around $150, and it would easily run as a PBX for a couple of dozens of users.
They will work behind nat it you set NDLB-force-rport=safe or true on your sip profile. you should NEVER be setting true for that value unless you know for sure that every device you will ever use will work with that setting. It's an evil setting that WILL break devices. You should be enabling rport on the devices, which will just magically make them work right in most cases without breaking other devices.
