HI, I realize all the heavy hitters are off partying and in a FreeSwitch frenzy by now, but can someone look at my pastbin log http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/21892 and tell me why I can't "make current"? I am happy it did NOT leaving with a dead server this time! That is truly progress and I am VERY HAPPY about it. I am not a Centos guy (no duh), but Unix boxes are too much cheaper than windows boxes for the same use. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. We are also entertaining reasonable offers for Administrator(s) to keep our Centos / Freeswitch server up to date and on stable versions. We can handle the FS config. A decent hourly rate or monthly retainer maybe? Thanks, Sean
Would it be easier to use centos packages..? http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Download_%26_Installation_Guide#YUM_Based_In... -Avi
Could I recommend adding in the future a step of tarring up your FS install before any upgrades, FS installs nicely all in one location meaning its easy as cake to backup and if an install goes wrong rolling back takes but a minute to do. As for the error did you re-boostrap after making clean prior to making current? ~Mitch On Sun, Jan 26, 2014 at 1:20 PM, Sean Devoy <sdevoy@bizfocused.com> wrote:

This happens on occation... This looks like you need to do a ³make spandsp-reconf² The other option if you run into this is to rerun bootstrap.sh and configure... The cause of this is updates to underlying libs that mean they need to have their configures ran again... On 1/26/14 3:20 PM, "Sean Devoy" <sdevoy@bizfocused.com> wrote:

keep in mind these are developer commands and my not be the most user-friendly. That's why we started making packages and are continuing to evolve end-user centric distribution methods. I pushed a patch to add spandsp-reconf to "make current" so it will always happen going forward but I'd hardly rely on it as a way to dist or update prod boxes.
