one-port FXO for home - recommendations?
One of my neighbours wants to play with FS, and connect his existing analogue PSTN line to it. What would anyone here recommend to do this? Cheap and easy to configure as possible.. don't need a T1/E1 card or anything silly :) Alex
Go get yourself a NxtVox or equiv. TDM400... or even one of the X100p's /b On Aug 21, 2008, at 10:53 AM, Alex Kinch wrote:

A couple of options but something like a NxtVox card would give some flexibility. You could get the NxtVox NXA400P with one FXO port module and then if you want to get crazy later you could add FXS ports, etc. Or if you want to go really cheap (and *really* scary) you could look for a X100P clone on eBay... -MC

Try a Sipura (Opps Linksys/Cisco) ATA 3000 I think it is. It will give tyou the ability to offer 1 FXO and 1 FXS (analog station). I believe they run about $90 maybe, probably less on Ebay. If he gets this setup with a card and a bt line I will need to get in real quick to the box to do some tweaks to do bt caller id. Its minor tweaks but I have yet to have a line to test on. Mike On Aug 21, 2008, at 11:53 AM, Alex Kinch wrote:
