absolute_codec_string vs codec_string
Would someone please clarify the difference between the following parameters? I've seen the Wiki page but still don't understand the difference. 1. absolute_codec_string 2. codec_string Thanks, Ken Fulmer
codec_string is a list of codecs you would like to advertise, in addition if the outgoing call is being originated from an inbound call the codec of that inbound call will be prepeneded to the list to avoid transcoding. absolute_codec_string is an exact list of codecs you want to offer and it will not add any extra ones automatically.
