Re: [Freeswitch-users] Billing options
Hey Callum, I use (and develop) CGRateS for both rating and accounting (pre-, post-, pseudopre-paid). Feel free to come up with your particular questions and I will do my best to answer them. Thanks, DanB PS: In order to avoid bothering the people on the list with billing questions, you can also reach us on irc or mailing list.
Well, billing & accounting questions are quite integral to any telephony operation, and this is always very interesting to follow. If others do not object, I would be very grateful if you continue such discussions here. Regards HASSAN On Thu, Jan 30, 2014 at 7:55 PM, DanB <danb.lists@gmail.com> wrote:

Callum, Sure, always welcome ;)! Regarding checking how to use/integrate with your own mechanisms, I would suggest taking a look on the two tutorials we have published a while ago since they are more up to date with latest features we got in (online CDRs, fraud detection/automatic mitigation, RPC server, various way to control balances and so on). Here is the link towards the tutorials: http://cgrates.readthedocs.org/en/latest/tut_freeswitch.html On the other hand if you want to go with your own development, let me know your particular questions and I can happily share out of what we have learned on the way ;).
