Hi all, i have SPA-1001 but can not connect it to FreeSwitch. The errormessage is "can't connect to login server" Now 2 days long i have tried some different things. Now i'm sure that the problem is by the FreeSwitch Server. Because if i use VoipSwitch as server so the client can connect. Voipswitch have different client types. The normal is G/K Registrar Client. With this client type they don't work also with VoipSwitch. İ must use "Common Client" so the SPA-1001 can connect and all things worked. Everybody have an idea, what i can do? Kind regards Erkan
How can I change the client type in FreeSwitch? Perhaps, you are not alone here. I also face this similar issue, except with a Linksys PAP2v1. On a Linksys PAP2v2 and/or a Uniden UIP1869V device, they have no problems to register to my FreeSWITCH server. Perhaps, there are some parameters needed to make this type of devices to work properly with a FreeSWITCH server. NOTE: I can configure My Linksys PAP2v1/2 and Uniden UIP1869V to register to my Asterisk PBX system with no problem. ----- don't and stop are the ONLY two 4-letter words considered offensive to men, but not when used together. -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/SPA-1001-tp5330022p5331693.htm... I think that client type is terminology specific to VoipSwitch. Debug-level log file output from FS for the client when it fails to register would be useful, and your config files. Can you grab the sip packet trace for registering to voipswitch as each client type, and registering to FS? We might then be able to compare the behaviour and spot why it's not working. -Steve 2010/7/23 Erkan Ünlü <erkan@speedingtrade.com>
