Problems with Nokia E51 registration
Hey, I can't register my Nokia E51 with FS. I have default settings after installing FS (username:1000 passw:1234). I have x-lite on my laptop and it works just fine over my wlan with FS. E51 is in same wlan and I can use that normally for web browsing etc. so I really think there is something wrong in my settings. If some of you have same phone or same kind of problems please let me know? ---------------------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through L-secure: http://www.l-secure.net/
Not wishing to do the AOL-style 'me too' waving hand thing, but I'd be interested in hearing from someone who's managed this. My N95 steadfastly refuses to play ball with FS. Alex On 3 Jul 2008, at 11:23, jussi.salonen@huittislainen.com wrote:

On my e-51i I had to put the ENTIRE sip URI in the 'public user name' field. For example: sip:402@sip.emergen.biz This was with asterisk- Haven't tried with FS yet but I'm guessing you might have the same problem. I'm assuming you dont even get a request to freeswitch- correct? also- try with 'compression = no' and 'security =no' just to test things out. Alex Kinch wrote:

The N95 works fine, I would assume all the Nokia's of that series have the same SIP stack so should work as well. I've created a page here with the settings that work for me; http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Nokia_N95 hads -- http://nicegear.co.nz VoIP, DVB and other Linux compatible hardware. Linux laptops.
Thanks Hads, that works a treat. Not sure what was wrong with my original profile, but deleting it and using your example did the trick :) Alex On 3 Jul 2008, at 22:40, Hadley Rich wrote:

Thank you guys for these instructions, I'll try them as soon as I get enough time to sit with my FS!! Lainaus Alex Kinch <alex@alexkinch.com>:
