Effectiver Caller ID with Sipgate-Trunk
Hi everyone, I´m trying to change the sender number, It should depends on who ist making the call. At the moment it comes only the DID- number from Sipgate-Trunk. I have tried to change in the dialplan and in the directory the "Effectiver_caller_id" and the "outbound_caller_id" (Number and Name) without success. I also changed in the gateway the "caller-id-in-from" to "true", but with that Parameter, the gateway doesn´t work. I talked to Sipgate and they cannot help... Does someone know, what I´m missing? Hi Sandra, did you try "sofia profile external siptrace on" to see if maybe the INVITE actually contains the number you have set? It might be possible that you have correctly set the number but Sipgate somehow doesn't accept it because you're not allowed to use that number with that account, the format is wrong or something else. Hi, In sipgate basic, the transferred caller id number must be set in the P-Preferred-Identity, which should be set through effective_caller_id_number afaik. This is the same with sipgate trunking: http://teamsupport.sipgate.de/hc/de/articles/200571688-Wie-konfiguriere-ich-... Please keep in mind that sipgate requires the number in the e164 format: P-Preferred-Identity: <sip:4921158000000@sipconnect.sipgate.de> -> no leading zeros and the number with the country code and with the correct sipconnect.sipgate.de domain. A friend of mine once mentioned that sipgate does only accept outgoing numbers which are associated with your account, you can't extend the number further than your account allows.
