Hi, I want my server sometimes does media proxy and sometimes bypass media. For example, I have A, B and C. A and B always in same internal network. C is outside. When A call B, I want to bypass media, so that media peer to peer. A call C will be media proxy. I know ICE can do that. But unfortunately, all my endpoint doesn't support ICE. I'm wondering is there anyway to configure this. Thanks
The reason, I need this is I'm building a video app with freeswitch, so bandwidth is very expensive for me. On Tue, Oct 11, 2011 at 9:52 PM, RuiQiang Huang <hrqiang@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi, Ken I have <param name="inbound-proxy-media" value="true"/> <param name="inbound-late-negotiation" value="true"/> in internal.xml. However, when my two endpoints in the same network call each other, instead of peer to peer, audio still goes to freeswitch. I know that I may be able to achieve this by this action in my dialplan <action application="set" data="bypass_media=true"/> For that I have to statically configure which endpoint calls which goes bypass media, but I want it more intelligent, automatically detect two endpoint in the same network or not and alternative between proxy media and bypass media. Anything I'm missing or suggestion? Thanks. On Tue, Oct 11, 2011 at 9:54 PM, Ken Rice <krice@freeswitch.org> wrote:
