That is exactly the issue, thanks for evaluating it Ciprian. Apologies that I wasn't able to work out how to get that backtrace - I tried running the freeswitch binary within gdb (it loaded and then terminated early) and also the fscore_pb script which reported "Unable to locate freeswitch prefix directory." and/or "You must be in the current directory with a core file from FreeSWITCH!" and couldn't afford to spend any more time on it. Are there simple steps required to get the application running in a mode where it provides the clean backtrace you provided? Love to know how. Thanks again!

I am not sure whether the OP's circumstances are the similar, but this GH issue report may help out:

We’d need a bug reported to GitHub with a backtrace from the crash to look at this properly.

Easily reproducible issue, simply try and record to a file with the .raw extension. This causes FreeSWITCH to immediately crash:

uuid_record 01386fbc-b552-487e-a5af-4bd1661a97f0 start /tmp/file.raw

Using: FreeSWITCH Version 1.10.1-release-12-f9990221e6~64bit (-release-12-f9990221e6 64bit)
OS: Debian 10 Buster (4.19.0-6-amd64)

Apologies, no experience capturing a core dump and have failed to do so from the notes on https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Debugging, wanted to report the issue.
