Thanks for responding. Yes - I make sure it's not connected to the internet and run my module with the curl functions. I'd expect it to time out or something, but instead it's crashing freeswitch.

Hey guys, if I'm using curl in a module and the connection times out do you have suggestion for how this should be handled?

For example, if I disconnect freeswitch from the internet and have the following settings:

curl_easy_setopt(curl_handle, CURLOPT_CONNECTTIMEOUT, 5L);
curl_easy_setopt(curl_handle, CURLOPT_TIMEOUT, 5L);
switch_curl_easy_setopt(curl_handle, CURLOPT_NOSIGNAL, 1L);

it never times out and then crashes freeswitch. Is this expected behavior?
Is there something I should be doing instead?
Thanks, chris
