I'm using two usb sticks connected to a portable device running armel(similar to raspberry pi).
It has a lot of reset issues and gives us a big headache.
mod_gsmopen works but when there's an issue it stops and doesn't reconnect - you need to reload it for it to reconnect.
I'm actually changing this module so it will reconnect to the usb stick when there's a problem.

Yes, i do. The raspbian usb drivers crash too easily. The dwc_otg panics the kernel.

Hello,

I use four modems in simultaneous (SMS, USSD, voice), 1x E169, 3x E1550... to date, approximately 7 days of uptime, all excellent. I'm in the testing phase in a Mini ITX board (debian 7) and DUB-H7 USB HUB, but I intend to create a gateway gsm using the Raspberry Pi, does anyone have any experience to share?

Have a nice weekend,

Doug
